In an emotional goodbye, The Authority reflected on the reasons for their epic loss and admonished the WWE Universe — cautioning them to be careful what they wished for. The Game ridiculed the fans, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler and Sting, before promising that their demise would mean the end of WWE. He also made the profound prediction that, in the end, the people would beg them to come back.

But they were interrupted by John Cena’s selection for the man who would be running Raw for the night: Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan arranged matches between Cena team and lost Authority Team. The main highlight was the Tagteam between Seth Rollins a, his body guards which were selected by wwe Universe aps voting.

Victory  came for the the team of John Cena who trashed  his opponent.

A move was made by Bryan to right a existing wrong procedure by Rusev who all along has not acknowledged United state as his host as he was asked to recite the pledge.This was the first time the action of Rusev was being challenged as Triple H and wife had treated him with kid gloves. The authority was interested in business as usual without consideration of patriotic feeling.

Coming days would determine how the new wwe would be run.

The selection of Team Authority and Team Cena. The scene shifted from U SA to Liverpool where Raw took place. At stake was the threat or Ruling by the Chairman of wwe , Vince Mcmahon that if Team Cena wins ,the concept of Authority  ceases  to exist. On the side of Authority are Cain and Seth because Randy Orton has already been schemed of after Cain and Seth  had jointly sent him off from participation.
I hold the strong view that Randy Orton has not taken it kindly that Seth was now been given more attention as to who was to lead the Team of Authority.in any case Randy has not been able to control his anger .
 Mark Henry had already been selected and was present to boost Team Authority. The Bulgarian wrestler Rusev has been approached by the Authority . He at first seemed to have been silent but by  strange arrangement THE INTERCONTINENTAL Championship was billed same Monday . The Authority got involved in that match and so made a mockery of the effort by Sheamus to recapture his Title.

Much lauded International Action on Ebola Menace by Google andOthers

The entire World is now turning to the Ebola Menace with positive response.

We are delighted that non Governmental organizations especially in the United States are showing a lot of concern as stated below.

San Francisco – Google launched a campaign Monday to raise money to fight Ebola, tossing $10 million into the pot and saying it will match donations to the fund two to one.

In addition, Google chief executive and co-founder Larry Page said his family’s foundation is contributing $15 million to the cause.

“Our hearts go out to everyone whose lives have been touched by this tragedy,” Page said in a blog post announcing the campaign.

Google started collecting contributions at the website onetoday.google.com/fightebola, where a message indicated that the two-for-one dollar match would continue until $7.5 million more in donations were collected.

Groups targeted by the California-based Internet titan to receive support included InSTEDD, Medecins Sans Frontieres, Net Hope, and Save the Children.

The campaign comes less than a month after Face book co-founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife announced they were donating $25 million to help US efforts to contain the deadly Ebola epidemic.

“The Ebola epidemic is at a critical turning point… It is spreading very quickly and projections suggest it could infect one million people or more over the next several months if not addressed,” Zuckerberg said on his Face book page.

“We need to get Ebola under control in the near term so that it doesn’t spread further and become a long-term global health crisis that we end up fighting for decade’s at large scale, like HIV or polio.”

He said he and his wife Priscilla were donating the funds to the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Foundation.

“Grants like this directly help the frontline responders in their heroic work,” Zuckerberg said.

“These people are on the ground setting up care centers, training local staff, identifying Ebola cases and much more.”

The Ebola virus has already killed more than 4,800 people, most in the West African countries of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Under funded health systems in the region have been crippled by the disease, which has spiraled out of control and infected more than 13,000 people.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in September pledged $50 million to help boost the fight against the Ebola outbreak, providing the funds to UN agencies and international organizations involved in the outbreak.

Effect of Tourism Boycott on Ebola stricken West Africa

West African tourist chiefs urged travelers on Wednesday not to boycott their region because of the Ebola crisis, insisting that the epidemic was only affecting three countries in a vast continent.

“Africa is not a country, Africa is a continent,” said Ola Wright, the chief executive of West Africa Tourism, warning that fear over Ebola in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone was having a damaging impact on neighboring countries.

The deadly virus has brought an abrupt and indefinite halt to international tourism in those three affected countries, where almost 5,000 people have died in the outbreak.

But tourism has been affected across the region and even in east and southern Africa, which are thousands of miles (kilometres) away and have not reported Ebola cases.

“We’ve had a lot of complaints from different people, from hoteliers, tour operators, complaining that sales have really gone down and of loads of different cancellations,” Wright told AFP at the World Travel Market fair in London.

The fear is more damaging than the actual problem,” she said, adding: “It’s just ignorance.”

Sierra Leone pulled out of the international travel show exhibition last week, while Guinea and Liberia do not normally attend, but Senegal and Nigeria both had stands.

Houma Dia, director of marketing for Senegal’s tourism promotion agency, said that someone had come to her stand and questioned her about whether she was tested for signs of Ebola on her arrival in Britain.

“Can you imagine? I was really shocked. Why did you come to ask me and why did you have this reaction? I think people should stop panicking,” she said.

Nigeria and Senegal have been declared Ebola-free after a small number of cases of the virus.

Tour operators working in West Africa were also at the London event to launch a new campaign to support people of the region in their response to Ebola.

“Unite4WestAfrica” intends to raise money for charity and also promote a “positive story” of West Africa to help it attract tourists in the future.

““These countries were just establishing themselves,” said David Oades, of Over landing West Africa.

He has cancelled this season’s overland trips because of border closures but is hopeful they will resume next year.

More than half of South African travel agents, tour operators, and car hire and conferencing businesses say the Ebola outbreak has had a negative impact, according to the latest Tourism Business Index published in October.

THE MENACE OF EBOLA AND THE NEED FOR INTERNATIONAL ACTION PART 2

The 2014 Ebola epidemic is the largest in history, affecting multiple countries in West Africa. There were a small number of cases reported in Nigeria and a single case reported in Senegal; however, these cases are considered to be contained, with no further spread in these countries.

Two imported cases, including one death, and two locally acquired cases in healthcare workers have been reported in the United States. CDC and partners are taking precautions to prevent the further spread of Ebola within the United States. CDC is working with other U.S. government agencies, the World Health Organization (WHO), and other domestic and international partners and has activated its Emergency Operations Center to help coordinate technical assistance and control activities with partners. CDC has also deployed teams of public health experts to West Africa and will continue to send experts to the affected countries.

Outbreak Update

·                          On November 5, WHO released a situation report that included a decrease in the number of total cases since the report released on October 31, 2014. WHO reports that the decrease in total cases results from a change in data sources.

·                          On November 5, WHO reported that all 83 contacts of the health worker infected in Madrid, Spain have completed the 21-day follow-up period.

·                          On October 29, WHO released a situation report that included an increase of 3792 cases since the report released on October 22, 2014. WHO reports that the increase in  total cases results from a more comprehensive assessment of patient databases. The additional 3792 cases have occurred throughout the epidemic period.

·                          On October 23, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene reported a case of Ebola in a medical aid worker who had returned to New York City from Guinea, where the medical aid worker had served with Doctors Without Borders. The diagnosis was confirmed by CDC on October 24.

·                          On October 23, Mali reported its first confirmed case of Ebola in a child who had traveled there from Guinea. The child passed away on October 24.

·                          WHO officially declared Senegal and Nigeria free of Ebola virus transmission on October 17 and 20, respectively.

The Menace of Ebola and the urgent need for international Action Part1

The history of Ebola virus began in Africa. It is named after River Ebola, which runs through Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is therefore first and foremost.

A challenge to African scientists. It is a shame that since 1976, when the first virus was defined not much effort has been made to get a certified cure for it.

Ebola is extremely infectious but not extremely contagious. It is infectious, because an infinitesimally small amount can cause illness. Laboratory experiments on nonhuman primates suggest that even a single virus may be enough to trigger a fatal infection.

Instead, Ebola could be considered moderately contagious, because the virus is not transmitted through the air. The most contagious diseases, such as measles or influenza, virus particles are airborne.

Humans can be infected by other humans if they come in contact with body fluids from an infected person or contaminated objects from infected persons. Humans can also be exposed to the virus, for example, by butchering infected animals.

While the exact reservoir of Ebola viruses is still unknown, researchers believe the most likely natural hosts are fruit bats.

Symptoms of Ebola typically include: weakness, fever, aches, diarrhea, vomiting and stomach pain. Additional experiences include rash, red eyes, chest pain, throat soreness, difficulty breathing or swallowing and bleeding (including internal).

Typically, symptoms appear 8-10 days after exposure to the virus, but the incubation period can span two to 21 days.

    Prevention includes sanitized  hands. When peeling fruits ensure that there is no contact with the body fluid of infected  persons through coughing , sneezing or sweating.

That WHO  has stated that 60% of Ebola virus transmissions take place during burials. It is right therefore that the government of Nigeria has banned corpse transportation over long distances.

 Nigeria donated N1.9billion as initial payment to fight the disease. It showed leadership by donating N35 million, local currency to Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.

  The Catholic Church in some Diocese in Nigeria, banned corpse being brought into the church during funerals. In addition, for the first time, Holy Communion was being received with the hand, as approved by bishop’s Conference.

  Apart from some Airlines which have banned flights to Liberia and Sierra Leone. Many African Governments have sought to isolate, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia, for example, Sierra Leone Football Association planned to go ahead, with upcoming Africa Cup of Nation’s qualifier in Abidjan, with its 20 man squad consisting of players from abroad. Moreover, the spread of the virus to Senegal and WHO warning that up to 20,000 cases could be reported and this would mean more restrictions expected ahead of Nations Cup finals in Morocco

   On the whole, many Nigerians are taking necessary precaution. Some have turned the occasion into humor. People no longer hug or shake hands but stand still and say “Ebola Greetings “.Some Nigerians pronounce Ebola as” Egbula” which in local parlance is “Do not kill”

Apart from these measures, the international community needs to do more.

Tekmira Pharmaceuticals, a Canadian drug maker contracted by the US Food and Drug Administration, is researching and seems to have made progress on how to target the genetic material of the virus. The efforts of the manufacturer of Zmapp, on the other hand, are geared towards boosting the immune system of afflicted persons to fight off the virus.

It is our hope that President Jonathan’s appointed research team in Nigeria will build on what these two organizations have done and develop a cure for the deadly disease. In my view, the epidemic cannot be said to have been confined to West African sub region. It is only resurfacing in 2014.Before now strands of the virus were detected in  a pig farm in far away Philippines,

He beat The King of Kings via pinfall in the opening match of the evening to earn his way into the title bout. He reclaimed the WWE Title that was stolen from him at SummerSlam (and again after Hell in a Cell) via submission. Given the two-title nature of the WWE World Heavyweight Title, he even got his hands back on the World Heavyweight Championship he lost in 18 seconds two years ago, in an ignominious WrestleMania XXVIII loss where this Movement really started.

Decimated Daniel  as the tournament was announced. The Shield which was ordered to support Triple H, ironically fought in defense of Daniel Bryan. As of today Daniel Bryan is the WWE Champion.

First, I do not know weather he is the Biblical Daniel in the lion’s Den..

     I do not equally know whether he is a christian because he chose to conduct his wedding in a public arena, typical of American celebrities.    Tripple H, pedigreed him during a match that he had won in order to hand over to Randy Orton , who was considered suitable  as FACE OF WWE.  In another match a veteran World of Famer had also knocked him down as what is GOOD FOR BUSINESS!

   Finally the hostility continued  when the White family copted him and later sent him a way from their Fold.   When he established the YES MOVEMENT, he did the UNTHINKABLE BY OCCUPYING THE ARENA with his group. To put an end to this , he was arrested , handcuffed  and decimated in the public arena. These moves were intended to completely paralyse him , incapacitate him so that his opponent would have a complete advantage and hence VICTORY.

 To me, his continued fighting for his  just cause conjures the philosophy that the force of Good must triumph over EVIL.For all Right thinking people , the invocation of what is good for business By wwe Authority  demonstrates the ugly side of capitalism.
