The agony of Nigeria,As Oil Producer..SUBSIDY Blues FOR Laugh

A few days ago, many Nigerians woke up to find fuel increases gone up to 100 %. Ironically, blames are being placed
on Government as being insensitive to the plight of its citizens. While blames are being bandied around, it must be stressed that fuel subsidy removal has always come up from time to time as a government strategy to provide more
amenities for its citizens.Previous administration attempted to put in place this policy, but other interests were accorded higher priority. It appears to me that Jonathan's administration may not be interested in Second term and so he is taking the bull by the the horn by this drastic measure.
Many reasons have been adduced for taking the action now. One such reason is Government claim that sharp practices allegedly perpetrated by a cartel in the oil industry has led to a rip-off, put at one trillion naira.
Moreover some greedy marketers ,who have little or no regard for human lives are said to be converting or diverting
Dual purpose Kerosene (DPK) to aviation fuel( JET A1), since JET A1 is sold at N152 per litre as against N50 per litre ,Domestic.
Fuel subsidy means more employment for other countries that supply Nigeria fuel ,while thousands of our graduates remain unemployed.,depletion of our foreign reserves etc.We should put an end to the exploitative role of the greedy marketers , who have thrived on inflated bills on fuel supplied to Nigeria. Ghana,Nigeria,s next door neighbour is said to have removed subsidy. Niger is building a refinery, perhaps with the sole aim of supplying fuel to Nigeria!
At the height of this crisis, concerned interest group have mounted massive propaganda to counter government action. Thus in the pictures below, they have tried to paint the picture in different ways in order to evoke sympathy.
The pictures are funny, riduculous and provide good laugh to many.
I would like readers draw meanings from the pictures presented.. The pictures would present amusing spectacles to foreigners. In one picture, a girl is lifting a book or Bible in celebration after siphoning fuel from a car!
